BOT Meeting

The TVD Board of Trustees (BOT) will meet the second Thursday from 1830 to 2000  at the home of the Commandant, at 2800 Taylor Ct., Nampa, ID.  (Be sure to Google map for directions)

The primary purpose of the BOT meeting is to develop the agenda for the detachment meeting before the regular business meeting, it is intended as a business meeting preparation aid for the officers.

NOTE: Establishing an agenda does not restrict members from making appropriate and/or necessary motions during the business meetings.

Members who want to submit an agenda item for the TVD BOT meeting may either:

Make a personal appearance at the BOT meeting.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a maximum ten minute limit on presentations. Five minute presentations are preferred. Or:
Email your agenda item to the Commandant including complete: What, When, Where, Why, Who, and How information.

The BOT meeting is for BOT members only and not the entire detachment.  Members making presentations are only present during their presentation and not during the entire BOT meeting.

NOTE: The BOT meeting is limited to 90 minutes, 1830 – 2000. It will start and end on time. Accordingly, and for purposes of meeting management, advise the Commandant immediately if you intend to make a presentation.  If you do not notify me in advance you may not have the opportunity to make your presentation.

Expected attendees are: Commandant, Past Commandant, Senior Vice, Junior Vice, Adjutant/Paymaster, Judge Advocate, Sgt-at-Arms, Chaplain, Newsletter Editor and any special committee Chairman or member requesting to be heard.
