Saturday morning muster for coffee!

We at the Treasure Valley Detachment, Marine Corps League have a Coffee Klatch at Quinn’s Restaurant on Vista Avenue in Boise every Saturday morning from 8:30am (0830) to 10am (1000) muster early, most everyone is there by 830am (0830). Marine’s, FMF Navy Corpsman, Chaplains and friends are welcome to join us for coffee. You don’t need to be a member to shoot the bull with other Marines.  Sometimes a new lie story is what we need!

Our monthly business meetings are year around.

The monthly meetings are held at the American Legion Hall., in Meridian.  The 3rd Thursday of the month.  A meet and greet starts at 6pm (1800) for the opportunity for camaraderie.  With the Business Meeting starting at 7pm (1900) lasting no later then 8:30pm (2030).  To extend the meeting REQUIRES a vote of the attending members.

The TVD Board of Trustees (BOT) meeting.

Notice to all detachment members:  (This will remain in effect and only be changed if an unforeseen event causes a change and e-mail notification will be sent to all members advising change, if time allows.)

The TVD Board of Trustees (BOT) will meet the second Wednesday from 1830 to 2000 at the current Commandant’s home. The primary purpose of the BOT meeting is to prepare for the next monthly meeting of the membership. Members who want to submit an agenda item for the TVD BOT meeting may either:

Make a personal appearance at the BOT meeting. Contact Commandant FIRST!.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a maximum ten minute limit on presentations. Five minute presentations are preferred.
OR:
Email your agenda item to the undersigned including complete: What, When, Where, Why, Who, and How information. ([email protected])

The BOT meeting is for BOT members only and not the entire detachment.  Members making presentations are only present during their presentation and not during the entire BOT meeting. NOTE: The BOT meeting is limited to 90 minutes, 1830 – 2000. It will start and end on time. Accordingly, and for purposes of meeting management, please advise the Commandant immediately if you intend to make a presentation.  If you do not notify the current Commandant in advance you may not have the opportunity to make your presentation.
