“The Marines will be needed as long as America needs defending”

J. Robert Moskin 1992

KEEPING OUR PAST TO PRESERVE OUR FUTURE:

As a Marine member past and present of Treasure Valley Detachment, your help is needed.  Your web Sgt. has a vast pile of pictures given me of detachment activities, being a relatively new member (actively speaking) I was in need of help filling out the information for captions on those pictures.

Please add comments and names for each picture.  Also if I have the wrong picture in an Album let me know and I’ll move it.

How to:  First select the page, click on the red bar “PHOTO GALLERIES”.  Look below on the page each of the green or tan areas are albums of photos.  Click the words on left the “Browse photos”.  Use the << < right or left > >> arrows to move to different images.  If you are willing to add captions enter Your Name: Your e-mail:  sorry the system is setup this way to protect the information and site.  Your Comment:  please identify anything you can about the image.  Like who, what, when, where, how and why once I review the input it will become a permanent part of the photo galleries, keeping our past to preserve our future.

Name and address are only required at the start with each gallery and the second time is easier by the entry of the first letter fills the line.  After selecting “send” within a gallery just change pictures.  To view pictures nothing is required to be entered just view and enjoy the memories.

Lastly if you have images that you would like to have added contact Web Sgt.

“I have only two men out of my company and 20 out of some other company. We need support, but it is almost suicide to try to get it here as we are swept by machine gun fire and a constant barrage is on us. I have no one on my left and only a few on my right. I will hold.”
