“No war is over until the enemy says it’s over. We may think it over, we may declare it over, but in fact, the enemy gets a vote.”

Marines Wanted
Our Detachment is looking for Marines in the Treasure Valley who would like to reconnect with fellow Marine veterans in the area. We are also looking to grow our Detachment so that we can do more to help out our fellow veterans. Our Detachment has a lot to offer to our fellow veterans including community events, fundraising, assisting local veterans in need, and building on our camaraderie and brotherhood. Please come to one of our monthly meetings or if you see a red garrison cover in the community, please stop over. We would love to hear from you.
ANNUAL Dues are due!
From the desk of the TVD Commandant: Members of TVD, National has set the renewal of members’ dues as 31 August of each year. Here is the rub, if we are to meet the date, we must receive al dues and complete all 10 dues Renewal Transmittal Forms and snail mail them to National. To accomplish this task the BOT has set the date of dues due to detachment P.O. Box by 1 June of each year.
Please help the detachment Adjutant/Paymaster accomplish this monumental task in a timely manner by mailing in your checks, calling on the phone (208-229-3034 – to pay by credit card) or dropping off the cash at the Quins coffee Klatch on any Saturday, David and or I are usually there.
